Miss Tomlinson has been incredibly impressed with all of 5HT this week, but when it came to table points France and Spain managed to come top of the class with 105 table points each!
Well done

Congratulations Olivia O’Dowd-Samuels.
Olivia has tried really hard to solve complex multiplication questions in maths this week.
Keep up the good work.
This week we have been looking at how to become an athelete.
Today we looked at the importance of doing a warm up and cool down during exercise. Miss Tomlinson was very impressed with the warm up routines 5HT created.

This weeks star is Hollie Draycott.
Hollie has tried hard to work independently this week and has made some sensible choices. She has also been very helpful

Well done to France, Italy and Spain who all managed to achieve 60 table points this week

Well done Madison Williams
Madison has worked really hard all week on some challenging problems.
This week in Yr5 we have been looking at the different ways in which we can damage our bodies.
5HT all made some fanatstic posters to show how smoking can damage our bodies. The top three are shown below:

By Kelsey Newton

By Nicole Spencer

By Kieran Johnson
5HT also made up cartoon strips to show what could happen to your body if you eat an unhealthy diet all the time, here are two examples:
Shaban Hussain made up a character called Jack. Jack ended up having rotten teeth, becoming very sick and suffereing from bad skin due to all the chocoalte and sweets he was eating.
Megan King made up a character called Sally. Sally ate alot of junk food so her stomach started to hurt her, she also started to loose her hair due to a lack of vitamins! Poor Sally suffered from headaches and sickness too!
Miss Tomlinson is pleased that everyone in 5HT is healthy and won’t end up like poor Jack and Sally!

This weeks star is Joshua Walters.
Joshua has been trying really hard to improve his writing by using VCOP!
Keep it up

Well done France, you are the winning table again!!
Keep up the good work
